The transmedia installation explores the traces that flight and migration have left behind in the lives of subsequent generations. Based on the story of her own family, who emigrated from South Korea to Germany in the 1970s and 1980s, the artist confronts us with the question of the authorship of our own existence: do we tell our own story or are we told by the stories and experiences of previous generations, which are passed down to us from an early age and - literally - become part of our skin and hair? Personal memories are combined with folkloristic and pop-cultural elements. A space opens up in which the boundaries between the generations, between reality and fiction, become blurred.
