Retail Excellence transforms old fabric remnants—
such as curtains from my parents’ heavily smoked
apartment and discarded textiles from Frankfurt’s
Bahnhofsviertel—into new clothing. The work
stages a shop-like installation, reflecting on the
ephemerality of fashion and consumer culture.
Pieces are embellished with silicone and wool
embroidery, turning the garments into carriers of
memory, materiality, and performative presence.
